Late Dr Mittal Memorial Oration - Guidelines

Dr MC Mittal, M.D. Medicine and MPH (from coveted Harvard University in 1995) was the founder Professor of the department of PSM in MGM Medical College, Indore which later on renamed Community Medicine in 1956. He was the father figure of Community Medicine and the teacher of our teachers. This oration is dedicated towards the remarkable contribution for the community medicine fraternity. It is the most prestigious award of the state given to faculty of community medicine.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection for the award will be done by a committee comprising of Zonal President, Vice President, Organising Chairperson, Organising secretary, Scientific Committee Chairperson. Selected persons will be requested to present his/her choice subject/paper.

Objectivity Criteria for Mittal Oration

1) Attended & Presented Papers atleast 2 National and 1 Zonal Conferences .                                           – Eligible/ Not Eligible.

2) Age as on the date of conference shall be less than 50 years.                                                                   – Eligible/ Not Eligible.
